Huurdersbelang, an important organization that advocates for the rights and well-being of tenants in Rotterdam, had an outdated website that no longer reflected the scope and importance of their work. As the official voice of Stadswonen Rotterdam tenants, SHS needed a modern, easily accessible platform that reflected their commitment to tenant empowerment. The old website was unattractive and difficult to navigate, making it difficult for users to find relevant information or engage with SHS's services.

The Solution

Given their need to maintain full control over content updates and their familiarity with WordPress, we opted to have the new site built on WordPress. However, we have completely revamped the design, creating a sleek, modern look that reflects SHS's position as a professional, influential organization. The new website is intuitive, user-friendly and structured to provide tenants with easy access to information, resources and upcoming events.

We've also streamlined their content management to make it easier for SHS to update their site. Now they can effortlessly post new information, such as digital resident meetings or policy updates, without having to learn a new system or depend on external help.

The Results

The updated website has transformed the way Huurdersbelang communicates with tenants and stakeholders. The new design is attractive and professional, improving their profile and better reflecting the organization's mission. Tenants can now easily navigate the site to find answers to frequently asked questions, register for events or get involved with the Tenant Panel. The new platform allows SHS to effectively keep tenants informed of policy changes and their rights, empowering them to participate in shaping their living conditions.
